Affiliated to the Association in 1981 the Mid Essex Guild welcomes anyone with an interest in Weaving, Spinning, Dyeing, Felting, Knitting and Crochet etc.
Our talks and workshops are created to inspire all who attend.
We also have a members private Facebook group and a public Facebook page.
If you would like to join the Guild please come along to a Guild meeting day and the Membership Secretary will be happy to help.
Members and visitors alike can bring any project they are working on or need help with to all meetings.

Membership:
Single = £30 with printed newsletter, £25 with emailed newsletter.
Joint Membership =£42 with printed newsletter, £37 with emailed newsletter.
Guild members pay £2 per meeting.
Visitors are always welcome at all of our meetings for a nominal fee of £5.

April 20th Members day. Enid Tivey Award – anything made from fleece.
May 18th 1:30pm. Talk: Sue Jackson – Spitalfields Silks and The Age of Elegance.
June 15th 11am. Workshop: Asela Ali – Nuno Felting.
July 20th 11am. Talk: Shelia Gunson – The Bag Lady.
August 17th 11am. Talk: Susan and Elizabeth Cranmer – Spindles. 1:30pm. Workshop. Members Day – Weaving Challenge.
September 21st 11am. Talk: Ragged Life – Twined rug making American style on a loom.
October 19th 11am. Team challenge – Scrap yarn blankets for charity.
November 16th 11am. Talk: Longdraw James – Aspects of fleece preparation and dyeing.
December 14th 11am. Christmas meeting, Shared lunch, raffle, quizzes, festive workshop.
