Affiliated to the Association in 1981 the Mid Essex Guild welcomes anyone with an interest in Weaving, Spinning, Dyeing, Felting, Knitting and Crochet etc.
Our talks and workshops are created to inspire all who attend.
We also have a members private Facebook group and a public Facebook page.
If you would like to join the Guild please come along to a Guild meeting day and the Membership Secretary will be happy to help.
Members and visitors alike can bring any project they are working on or need help with to all meetings.

Single = £32 with printed newsletter, £27 with emailed newsletter.
Joint Membership =£42 with printed newsletter, £37 with emailed newsletter.
Guild members pay £2 per meeting.
Visitors are always welcome at all of our meetings for a nominal fee of £5.

January 17th 11am AGM. Show and Tell with cakes from the Committee.
February 21st 11am. Have a go at blending and carding. Workshop Wet Felting Flowers
March 21st 11am. Guild equipment what there is and how it works.
April 18th Members day. Enid Tivey Award – anything made from fleece. Shared lunch.
May 16th Have a go at weaving. Making simple looms.
June 20th 11am. Tony White AM Sewing Bee Journey. PM Stash busting weaving on a natural wreath base.
July 18th 11am. All about Spinning Wheels. Spindle spinning corner.
August 15th 11am. Barbara Rumsey Weaving award. Shared lunch.
September 19th 11am. Talk: Fruity Fleeces – my sheep and their fleeces. PM Workshop – Eco Bundle Dyeing.
October 17th 11am. Spinning award Skein fleece or tops. Workshop – wet felted mittens.
November 21st 11am. Social get together, come and chat and do your craft.
December 12th 11am. Christmas party, shared lunch, raffle, quizzes, festive workshop.
