Leigh Spinners Mill continues to be a working mill and is developing as a thriving Community and Heritage centre.
Leigh is situated approximately 15 miles west of Manchester and is 7 miles to the east of the M6, Junction 23.
For Leigh Spinners Mill, (WN7 2LB/Sat Nav WN7 2LA) from the A580, take the A574 towards Leigh for a mile, then turn right at the T junction, and Park Lane (a narrow residential road) is the third turning on the right.
Although there is no access to Leigh by train, there are regular bus links from Manchester and Warrington.
For more information on how to submit exhibits please look on the WIP
For weavers with less than three years’ experience, there is a chance to be awarded the Lylie Smart trophy. More information about this can be found on the WIP.
We hope to have the Submissions Document ready for November, ahead of the Christmas rush, and we’ll compile a list of hotels and places to visit. Details will be added as they become available.
