provide:<\/p><ul><li>an interesting and informative magazine for those involved in the crafts<\/li><li>an opportunity for the exchange of ideas<\/li><li>instructive articles to encourage experimentation<\/li><\/ul><p>We welcome<\/p><ul><li>feature articles (800 &#8211; 1500 words) or short\u00a0 articles (max 400 words). Please view existing articles online or in print for style\/content.<\/li><li>exhibition reviews (350 450 words) and book reviews (max 200 words)\u00a0<\/li><li>Guild Highlights (max 300 words)<\/li><li>Readers\u2019 Showcase (max 500 words)<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Authors of feature articles\/Readers&#8217; Showcase can include a short (50 word) biography plus website\/social media links at the end of the article.<\/p><p>Please note that we do not pay for articles or images, but we do provide authors and those contributing images with a complimentary digital or print copy of the relevant issue and additional copies can be requested at a reduced rate.<\/p><p>Please make initial contact using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merged.wsd.org.uk\/contact\/contacting-agwsd\/\">Contact Us form here<\/a>.<\/p><p>Articles can be submitted at any time although The Journal cannot guarantee to publish any article submitted, or to publish an accepted article in a particular issue of The Journal. Only previously unpublished work can be accepted. The Journal reserves the right to use images on the cover or on the Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners &amp; Dyers website. Promotional material cannot be accepted.<\/p><p>Note that we will edit text for Journal style, check details etc. and agree any changes with the author. We aim to adopt a \u2018light touch\u2019 editing style so that the author\u2019s voice is retained, but we do need to ensure that text is clear and easy to follow.<\/p><p>The publishing process: <br \/>\u25cf Initial contact via the contact form.
