It is ideally located<br \/>\nonly a few minutes walk from Queen Street Station and<br \/>\nthe main bus and coach station and only a little further<br \/>\nfrom Central Station for trains from the south. There is<br \/>\nparking close by as well as hotels and cafes.<br \/>\nThe exhibits cover the crafts of weaving, spinning<br \/>\nand dyeing and show the creativity and expertise of<br \/>\nindividual Guild members from 110 Guilds across the<br \/>\nUK.<br \/>\nMembers of the Guilds in Scotland and Northern Ireland<br \/>\nwill be on hand to explain the work exhibited and to<br \/>\ndemonstrate the various fibre processes of carding,<br \/>\ncombing, spinning and weaving and the use of dye<br \/>\nplants and other dyeing materials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsd.org.uk\/test\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Textile-Creations.pdf\">Textile Creations<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsd.org.uk\/test\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Places_To_Visit_Glasgow.docx\">Places_To_Visit_Glasgow<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Guilds of Scotland and Northern Ireland are pleased to invite you to Glasgow for the 2018 National Exhibition.
