The Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers

Whether you are a practising weaver, spinner or dyer or are interested in learning about our traditional crafts, you've come to the right place. The Association acts as an Umbrella Organisation and a central coordinating body. Our aim is to facilitate communication between:

  • Individual guilds of Weavers Spinners Dyers

  • Individual crafts people

  • Providers of related tools and supplies

  • Educational bodies

  • "Enquiring minds" interested in what we do

The objectives of the Association are the preservation and improvement of the craftsmanship in hand weaving, spinning and dyeing for the benefit of the public and the promotion of public education in such craftsmanship.
